Yes. We succeeded in solving today's case, and in record time. But there is still the matter of the two dead bodies found earlier this week, and the rumoured "spectres"... So I would not be quick to think we're safe.
Furthermore, we have a large group of nervous strangers gathered together, and most of us are armed. It's not a good equation.
(And he reaches into his bag again to pull out a folded sheet of paper! It's folded flat and compact but when he gives it a tug it unfolds to reveal... a paper crane. He holds it out for Kim to look at if he'd like. It's difficult to tell when it's folded up like this but if he looks under the wings where the folds meet, he might see that one of the sides appears to be kind of worn? Not jagged exactly but like, straight and dull like someone tore it against an edge if that makes sense?)
Could you imagine using a sword for something like this? (Considering his sword is on the longer side and everything...) Something smaller is better... ah, but the blade isn't very good.

[He resists the urge to shrug. Instead, he pops some more popcorn into his mouth.]

[He's trying not to sound exhausted at all of these Knife Crimes.]
That may be a problem down the line, for a number of reasons. But hopefully not.

and pulling out one (1) dull paring knife. Like, yeah, he's just going to show it to him like its no big deal?)
It's barely good enough to cut paper.

Thank you for sharing. I'll be sure to take that into consideration next time someone is slashed to death.
But if you don't mind me asking -- what did you take it for?

I have something better for slashing, anyway.
(You know... his actual sword. But yes,)
To cut paper.

Papercrafts?
... Well, that is a knife for fruit. It probably wouldn't have been very good for paper, even in its best condition.

(What else does he have up his sleeves... It is a surprise maybe.)
But now you've found one! There are only.... well, I don't know how many more there are to go but I'm sure you'll find them.

[It's like a sidequest menu just opened up and Kim is Not Perceiving It.]
