Everything would just be a blur of colours. Close objects, even more so.

Far away... it's only marginally better. I can see large, distinct shapes, but the details blur together.

The novelty of seeing the world like it's an abstract painting wears off after about twenty seconds or so.

So, yes, I would rather see clearly.
