I doubt the teams are sharing their special players. And even within the same teams, they're still limited by what they can say and do.

(He won't outright answer but you know. It's more logical for it to be one person.)

There is the one van Zieks mentioned and myself so far.

I was told about a "messenger" before... but they only knew the title. I don't know what they do. Whether it's the same person as van Zieks' source or something else entirely, we'll have to find out more.

[The lieutenant runs his fingers along the edge of his notebook, contemplating something.]

Including you, I believe I'm now aware of four. This is assuming that the "messenger" is not the person who was referenced in Saturday's trial. I don't know what they actually do, either.

(Ah, and that surprises him. Tsurumaru's eyes go wide and he claps his hands together,)

Four! I'm surprised! Ah, not that you know, of course... you've made yourself quite helpful, after all.

It's not as impressive as it sounds. I don't know the others' identities. I only know that the roles exist.

What I do know is that some of them are trying to work together, using liaisons to communicate.

[cranelike]

It is. There's no reason to be modest.

(He insists. He's very impressed!!)

After what happened at the trial, I imagine everyone will be more careful who they speak with and when. And it seems like everyone was already careful before. (Since the identities and exact roles are still unknown.) But it's important for everyone to find a way to work together... and that includes with our masked friends, too.

Yes. That was eye-opening.

But it does seem like we've been successfully cooperating as a group, despite the attempt to divide us into "teams". I'm glad for that.

[cranelike]

Even if people turn against each other, they always come together again. It repeats again and again.

(Nodding and then speaking fondly,)

If it was only me, I would gladly tell others but I'm quite fond of my precious Watcher. The mask makes them seem difficult but they're actually quite sensitive. Of course, I'm fond of many others here, too. Including you~

So if it will make things easier for them, I'll work hard and do my best to help.

If there's anything I can give, I'll share.

[At "including you," Kim's gaze goes straight to his notes. He coughs once to clear his throat.]

... You mentioned receiving a coin? Is this not the same coin that we all have?

It's the same coin. Last week, I told Susato-san I had an extra feather from guessing correctly but it was actually this.

I see. Good to know. Those with other roles may have received similar gifts...

(He shrugs,)

I don't know. It would be easy if there was a way we could tell. (Kiku chirps as if in agreement,) Mhmm, we'll have to keep a careful eye out.

It's something to look out for. [He sounds a little pleased about that.]
