[Yeah, he's just got this blurry stick that feels vaguely valuable. Very cool.
Kim will just lean back and close his eyes for a bit, sword in his arms. Cecile will huddle up against the sword as a little seabird-loaf to make sure it doesn't move.]
I never thanked you properly for keeping my secret before.
(So this is his way of making up for a little? The sword is a little longer than the average katana (would Kim even know that?). The blade is surprisingly thin and the blade is razor-sharp. Despite having a delicate appearance, there's a significant weight to the blade still. It might look like a decorative piece but it's pretty clear if someone wanted to, they could use it as a real weapon without much effort. And despite bragging about being over a thousand years old... he looks as good as new. One would never know he was an antique just looking at him. He's in very good condition.)

I've returned and with good news!

[Kim blinks awake. Cecile stirs, fluffing her feathers and hopping away so he can move.]
Good news...?
[He'll sit up straight and look vaguely at the white-ish blur before him.]

(And he positions himself in front of Kim)
Stay still.
(He'll put the glasses back on him?)

You mean, they actually helped?

I let them try and they could read. I knew they could. They just always needed help before.
(He's very proud.)
Thank you.

[Even knowing almost nothing about the situation, he's kind of sympathetic.]
... Anyway, a deal's a deal. [He rises to his feet and offers the sword back.]

(He doesn't take the swordback just yet, though,)
You couldn't see before, right?

My dear friend was able to see because of your favor. The least I can do in return is let you see me for yourself.
(He'll let Kim get a look at his sword properly.)
Because it's you, I'll even let you give it a swing if you'd like~

All right. I'll admit, I haven't examined many treasures up close before.
[He'll unsheathe it and take a look.]
