Tsurumaru does that thing where he walks up from behind her and taps the shoulder opposite of the side he's coming from so she'll look in the wrong direction. He might be a menace but he isn't a bully. He isn't going to try to frighten a blind girl.

But a little teasing has never hurt before. From her other side, he calls gently,)

Surprise.

[taptap]

[ a squeak! a-qing jumps but she recognizes his voice and his shins are saved from being smacked repeatedly with her broomstick. this does not stop him from getting elbowed though ]

Wah-! Who surprises a blind girl?? Don't I deal with that enough on a daily basis?!

[cranelike]

(He takes the elbow! And laughs, stepping away and holding his side,)

Would you rather live an uneventful life? Even you deserve surprises~

[taptap]

Every day is a surprise.

[ dryly. so dryly. ]

A-qing experiences such just by taking a walk outside.

[cranelike]

(What a tough crowd... He holds up his hands in front of him, trying to placate her,)

Okay, okay. Enough from me, then. Have you had any other surprises today?

[ it's gonna take a lot more work to make her laugh ]

Is this place not enough of a surprise? Every time I walk outside, there's something to give A-Qing a fright.

(Hm. He looks around and then clicks his heel on the ground before circling around to stand next to her,)

Shall we walk together? I'll tell you about all of the surprises I've found~

Let's see... not far, there's the beach. After the storm, there were many treasures to be found-- seashells, glass, and even little crabs that could fit in the palm of your hand.

But no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find any turtles or hear any princesses, though.

(Weird,)

Ah, and around the city, there are strange shapes... Have you heard about those?

[taptap]

Princesses? Would they be here too??

[ o: !!!! but otherwise ]

Only in whispers.... No one has told me directly what they are.

[ NOT THAT... SHE CAN SEE THEM ANYWAY............. ]

(He says and he holds out his hand,)

[ she shyly reaches out a hand. let's gooo...! ]

(And he's going to lead her to the operahouse or residential area... whichever is closest. Vague hands. He'll take her to one of the strange shapes,)

(And he'll take the hand he's holding and place it on the mark.)

[ pats said mark, frowning at it as she tries to get a decent idea of the shape. and the symbols? not that she'd understand it but you know ]
